Marcus Mariota signed a two-year contract with the Raiders, leading some to believe he will compete with Derek Carr for the starting quarterback position. Las Vegas also brought in a pair of underachievers in wide receiver Nelson Agholor and cornerback Eli Apple, both of whom are former first-round draft picks. Agholor spent his first five NFL seasons in Philadelphia, where he garnered a reputation as a pass-dropper, while Apple spent 2.5 years with the New York Giants before being traded to New Orleans, where he committed 21 penalties, including 11 for pass interference, in 25 games for the Saints,
