How to watch California vs. Nevada: NCAA Football live stream info, TV channel, time, game odds

Who’s Playing

Nevada @ California

Last Season Records: California 1-3; Nevada 7-2

What to Know

The Nevada Wolf Pack and the California Golden Bears will face off at 10:30 p.m. ET Sept. 4 at California Memorial Stadium to kick off their 2021 seasons. Nevada ended up 7-2 last year and capped things off with a win over the Tulane Green Wave in the Idaho Potato Bowl, so they are on the hunt for another strong season. On the other hand, returning after a rocky 1-3 season, California is aiming to prove that the past does not define them.

A pair of offensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Wolf Pack were 12th best in the nation (top 9%) in passing yards per game, finishing the 2020 season with 319.1 on average. Less enviably, the Golden Bears ranked sixth worst in the nation with respect to overall offensive touchdowns last season, where the squad accrued only ten. The good news for California, of course, is that these forces working against them might not carry over into the new season.

The neutral point spread forecasts a close one for these two. We’ll see if the game is as close as the oddsmakers expect or if one of these teams has a surprise blowout in them.
