The Week 2 NFL Sunday is out for blood, with teams around the league seeing player after player head to the sidelines and/or locker room with injury. What’s made worse is the fact many of those players are starters at their respective positions, with several quarterbacks going down as well. The first slate of games has been absolutely brutal, and now teams must enter Week 3 with plenty of question marks about not only how to adjust without their stars — e.g., Tua Tagovailoa and Tyrod Taylor — but they’re also holding their breath, waiting to find out if any of the following players will miss time going forward.

Here’s a look at notable players who have been or are currently being evaluated for injury around the NFL:

Bears

Dalton left in the first half with an injured ankle, tried to come back and play, but ultimately left again just before the half. Rookie Justin Fields came in to play the second half.

Broncos

Chubb re-injured his ankle, which had kept him out of their Week 1 game against the Giants.

Browns

Mayfield was helped off the field with a shoulder issue in the first half, but re-entered the game. Landry is set for an MRI on his knee after exiting the game against the Texans.

Dolphins

  • Tua Tagovailoa, QB (ribs)

Tagovailoa was carted off the field after taking a hard hit, and Jacoby Brissett came in to replace him. The Dolphins starter reportedly suffered bruised ribs, and although X-rays came back negative, he was in significant pain.

Eagles

The Eagles lost two key players to leg injuries against the 49ers.

Steelers

The Steelers lost last season’s sacks leader to a groin injury, and that wasn’t their only issue on defense, as Alualu fractured his ankle.

Texans

The biggest issue here, of course, is the starting quarterback. Taylor injured his hamstring in the first half against the Browns, and Davis Mills came in for the second half.

Raiders

Leatherwood exited the game, leaving the Raiders shorthanded on an offensive line that was already thin.
