Buccaneers vs. Bears odds, picks, line, how to watch, live stream: Model reveals 2021 Week 7 NFL predictions

With five teams currently at 5-1 or better, the race for home-field advantage in the NFC is already heating up and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the thick of it after a 5-1 start. The Bucs will host the Chicago Bears in Week 7 and Chicago is also in the NFC playoff picture as it currently is one of three teams in the conference at 3-3. But Chicago’s offensive woes have been well-documented and even its top-10 defense could be challenged by the third-ranked scoring offense in the NFL.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday. Tampa Bay is an 11.5-point favorite with the over-under at 47 in the latest Buccaneers vs. Bears odds from Caesars Sportsbook. In select markets, you can stream the game on Paramount+.

Week 7 NFL picks for Bears vs. Buccaneers

Before you tune in to Sunday’s Buccaneers vs. Bears game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,700 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters Week 7 of the 2021 season on an incredible 125-85 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Bears vs. Buccaneers, the model is backing the Bears to cover as 11.5-point road underdogs. After Andy Dalton tweaked his knee against the Bengals in Week 2, the Bears turned to rookie Justin Fields as the starting quarterback and it’s been a real rollercoaster since.

Fields was sacked nine times in a loss to the Browns but then the Bears handed over play calling duties to offensive coordinator Bill Lazor and Chicago ripped off wins over the Lions and Raiders. Last week against the Packers, the Bears competed well and were within a possession late but Aaron Rodgers ultimately broke the game open with less than five minutes left with a touchdown run.

However, the Chicago defense played well in that game overall, limiting the Packers to 323 yards of total offense after they’d put up 466 yards against the Bengals the week prior. The model likes the Chicago defense to slow the Buccaneers down just enough on Sunday to keep the Bears within the 11.5-point spread, predicting Chicago covers in well over 50 percent of simulations.
