NFL DFS, Week 13: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy football picks, stacks, lineup advice

The tight end position has been a tough one to figure out in Fantasy this year since very few players are having elite seasons. Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews are the only ones who rank among the top 40 overall in Fantasy points, but there’s a possible NFL DFS sleeper for Week 13. Washington’s Logan Thomas returned last week after missing two months and was targeted six times by Taylor Heinicke. This week, the WFT will face a Raiders squad that’s allowed the second-most Fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Should Thomas be part of your NFL DFS strategy and NFL DFS stacks?

With the dearth of quality players at his position, plus a favorable NFL DFS matchup, he could be a core part of your NFL DFS lineups. Before finalizing your NFL DFS picks for Week 13, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1 percent in more than a dozen other tournaments last season.

He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Week 13 NFL schedule and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for Week 13

One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for Week 13 is Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase ($7,000 on DraftKings, $7,500 on FanDuel). The rookie ranks sixth in receiving yards (906), fourth in receiving touchdowns (eight), and is sixth at his position in Fantasy points.

Chase has been in a slump, but he may have found the perfect opponent to help him break out. Cincinnati hosts the Chargers on Sunday, and L.A. has been lit up by receivers over the last month. They’ve allowed three wide receivers to top 100 yards over the last four games, with another receiver having 93. The Chargers are ripe for the picking and Chase should take advantage of them in Week 13.

Part of McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy also includes rostering Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen at $7,500 on DraftKings and $7,300 on FanDuel. Allen isn’t as flashy as some of the other big-name wide receivers in the NFL, but he has proven himself to be incredibly dependable over the last nine years and his productivity makes it clear that he’s one of the best in the game.

Allen has had at least 97 catches in each of the last four seasons and he’s averaging a career-high 7.4 receptions per game in 2021. That alone builds in a comfortable floor with DraftKings offering full-point PPR and FanDuel offering half-point PPR scoring, but he’s also produced 399 receiving yards the last four weeks and his 15 red-zone targets this season ranks sixth among NFL receivers. Bengals vs. Chargers is one of the few games this week that looks like it could be high-scoring and you can expect Allen to be a huge benefactor if it is.
