Towson @ No. 21 Ohio State
Current Records: Towson 6-3; Ohio State 6-2
What to Know
The Towson Tigers are staying on the road Wednesday to face off against the #21 Ohio State Buckeyes at 9 p.m. ET Dec. 8 at Value City Arena. These two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
The Tigers didn’t have too much trouble with the Kent State Golden Flashes on the road on Monday as they won 73-58.
Meanwhile, OSU strolled past the Penn State Nittany Lions with points to spare on Sunday, taking the game 76-64. Among those leading the charge for the Buckeyes was forward Kyle Young, who had 16 points in addition to seven rebounds. Young hadn’t helped his team much against the Duke Blue Devils last Tuesday, so this was a nice turnaround for him. Young’s points were the most he has had all year.
The Tigers have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 15 point spread they are up against. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 3-0 against the spread when expected to lose.
The wins brought Towson up to 6-3 and the Buckeyes to 6-2. Towson is 2-3 after wins this season, OSU 3-2.
