What to Know
The Bethesda Flames are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Long Beach State Beach at 10 p.m. ET Dec. 8 at The Walter Pyramid. Bethesda will be seeking to avenge the 124-52 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Jan. 5 of 2019.
The Flames took a serious blow against the UC Irvine Anteaters last week, falling 86-54.
Meanwhile, Long Beach State was close but no cigar on Saturday as they fell 77-74 to the Loyola Marymount Lions. Four players on Long Beach State scored in the double digits: guard Joel Murray (19), guard Colin Slater (14), forward Jordan Roberts (13), and guard Jadon Jones (11).
Both of these teams will be looking to put their recent losses behind them and walk away with a win. We’ll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
