NFL odds, lines, picks, spreads, best bets, predictions for Week 14, 2021: Model high on Washington, Saints

After the Bills lost to Tom Brady’s old team, the Week 14 NFL schedule brings his new one. Buffalo lost 14-10 to the Patriots on Monday Night Football and are now 3.5-point underdogs in Tampa Bay, according to the Week 14 NFL odds at Caesars Sportsbook. At 7-5, the Bills need a win to stay atop of the AFC Wild Card race. Should you back the Buccaneers to cover one of the slimmest Week 14 NFL spreads?

Elsewhere in Week 14 NFL Vegas odds, the Ravens are 2.5-point favorites over the Browns in a rematch of Baltimore’s 16-10 win in Week 12 and the Panthers are 2.5-point favorites against the Falcons in a rematch of Carolina’s 19-13 Week 8 win. All of the Week 14 NFL lines are listed below, and SportsLine’s advanced computer model has all the NFL betting advice and predictions you need to make the best Week 14 NFL picks now.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,200 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 14 of the 2021 season on an incredible 132-94 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, it has turned its attention to the latest Week 14 NFL odds and locked in picks for every NFL matchup. Head here to see every pick.

Top Week 14 NFL predictions

One of the model’s strongest Week 14 NFL picks is that the Washington Football Team (+4) covers the spread against the Cowboys at home. While Washington isn’t in the NFL’s upper echelon, the team has been able to pick up wins lately thanks to steady quarterback play from Taylor Heinicke and an effective defense. SportsLine’s model projects more of the same on Sunday, with Heinicke going for almost 240 yards on 34 attempts. On the other side, the model projects Dak Prescott to throw for almost 300 yards, with almost 75 of those going to CeeDee Lamb.

The Cowboys win in well over 50 percent of simulations from SportsLine’s model, but Washington covers the four-point spread in over 50 percent of simulations, making the Football Team a top pick this week.

Another one of its Week 14 NFL predictions: The Saints (-5.5) cover against the Jets on the road. New Orleans is 3-2 against the spread over its last five road games, while New York has lost three straight against the number at home. The Jets are 2-6 against the spread when rookie Zach Wilson starts at quarterback.

The Saints have lost five straight and failed to cover in three straight, but the Jets are just the opponent to help get them back on track. With Taysom Hill under center, New Orleans has averaged over 170 rushing yards in five career starts. Meanwhile, the Jets just gave up nearly 200 yards on the ground to the Eagles. New York has allowed the third-most rushing yards and most rushing TDs.

The model has three different Saints rushing for at least 37 yards, while the projections don’t have one Jets player topping that mark. That should allow New Orleans to breeze to a victory, as the model has the Saints winning by nine points. The Saints (-6) cover well over 50 percent of the time, and the model also has the Under (43.5) hitting in almost 60 percent of projections.

How to make Week 14 NFL picks

The model has also made the call on who wins and covers in every other game on the Week 14 NFL schedule, and it’s calling for a Super Bowl contender to go down hard. You can only get every pick for every game at SportsLine.
