Watch St. John’s vs. Monmouth: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Thursday’s NCAAB game

Who’s Playing

Monmouth @ St. John’s

Current Records: Monmouth 7-1; St. John’s 6-2

What to Know

The Monmouth Hawks’ road trip will continue as they head to Carnesecca Arena at 8:30 p.m. ET Thursday to face off against the St. John’s Red Storm. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.

While not quite a landslide, the game between the Hawks and the Canisius Golden Griffins on Sunday was still a pretty decisive one as Monmouth wrapped it up with a 79-65 victory on the road.

Meanwhile, the Fordham Rams typically have all the answers at home, but on Sunday St. John’s proved too difficult a challenge. St. John’s had enough points to win and then some against Fordham, taking their matchup 83-69. Guard Posh Alexander and guard Dylan Addae-Wusu were among the main playmakers for St. John’s as the former had 23 points and five assists and the latter posted a double-double on 11 points and 11 dimes.

Monmouth is expected to lose this next one by 9. Bettors make note: they are flawless against the spread this season.

The wins brought the Hawks up to 7-1 and the Red Storm to 6-2. A pair of stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Monmouth have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 37.30%, which places them 16th in college basketball. But St. John’s enters the matchup with a 50.50% field goal percentage, good for 10th best in college basketball. We’ll see which of these strengths — offense or defense — will win out.
