Betting on the NFL is becoming more unpredictable with COVID-19 rearing it’s ugly head, but you still have an advantage when it comes to the moment you decide to place your bet. If you can correctly predict how a current week’s matchup will go, then you have an advantage on next week’s lines.

Every Friday, we take a look at the NFL lines a week in advance to determine if we should put money down now in order to get the best bang for our buck. Most of these lines will likely change before we reach Week 15, so we want to go ahead and get our bets in if we see a nice opportunity for an upset, or to jump on a favorite before the line moves even more.

Before we jump into some early bets to consider, here are the lookahead lines for Week 15. All NFL odds come courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook.

Week 15 lookahead lines

Chiefs (-3) at Chargers

Raiders at Browns (-5.5)

Patriots (-1) at Colts

Panthers at Bills (-9.5)

Texans at Jaguars (-3.5)

Cowboys (-10) at Giants

Washington at Eagles (-2.5)

Titans (-2.5) at Steelers

Cardinals (-12) at Lions

Jets at Dolphins (-7)

Falcons at 49ers (-7.5)

Bengals (-2.5) at Broncos

Packers (-2.5) at Ravens

Seahawks at Rams (-7)

Saints at Buccaneers (-11.5)

Vikings (OFF) at Bears

Picks to consider

Chiefs (-3) at Chargers

The Chiefs lost to the Chargers in Kansas City earlier this season, so Patrick Mahomes and Co. will be out for revenge in Week 15. The Chiefs have now won five straight games and many anticipate the win streak will be extended to six against the Raiders this Sunday. This Kansas City defense is playing incredibly well, as it has allowed an average of 11.2 points per game over the past five contests. As for the Chargers, they get a layup this week in the Giants, but they are dealing with some COVID-19 issues as well. Still, Vegas expects L.A. to win by double digits.

The Chiefs have a reputation of being bad against the spread, but they are 3-0 over the past three games. If you like the Chiefs to get revenge in this matchup, I would grab it now at three points.

Packers (-2.5) at Ravens

The Packers are 12.5-point favorites over the Bears this week, which sounds much too high. Still, Matt Nagy has never covered the spread against Green Bay, so no one would be surprised to see Aaron Rodgers roll at home this Sunday night. The Ravens on the other hand have been struggling as of late, and are underdogs on the road against the Browns this week. Lamar Jackson has thrown more interceptions (8) than touchdowns (6) over his last four games. His four-game streak of throwing an interception is the longest of his career. It’s also tied for the second-longest active streak in the NFL. With the loss of Marlon Humphrey on the defensive side of the ball, this Sunday could be another letdown spot for the Ravens, which would cause this line to move above a field goal.
