The Colgate Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Pittsburgh Panthers at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday at Petersen Events Center. Colgate will be seeking to avenge the 68-54 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Dec. 29 of 2018.
The Raiders made easy work of the Columbia Lions on Monday and carried off an 89-61 win.
Meanwhile, Pitt lost 57-56 to the Virginia Cavaliers last Friday on a last-minute half-court bomb from Virginia’s forward Jayden Gardner as the clock expired. Forward John Hugley wasn’t much of a difference maker for Pitt; Hugley finished with 12 points on 2-for-11 shooting in his 36 minutes on the court.
Colgate is the favorite in this one, with an expected 3.5-point margin of victory. Those who got lucky with them against the spread on Monday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
