The Alcorn State Braves will square off against the #1 Baylor Bears on the road at 7 p.m. ET Monday at Ferrell Center. The Bears will be strutting in after a win while Alcorn State will be stumbling in from a defeat.
The Braves have to be hurting after a devastating 83-62 loss at the hands of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane this past Thursday.
Meanwhile, Baylor bagged a 78-70 victory over the Oregon Ducks this past Saturday. Baylor got double-digit scores from four players: guard James Akinjo (17), guard Kendall Brown (17), guard Adam Flagler (16), and forward Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua (10). Brown had some trouble finding his footing against the Villanova Wildcats last week, so this was a step in the right direction.
