Northern Arizona @ No. 5 Gonzaga
Current Records: Northern Arizona 4-7; Gonzaga 9-2
What to Know
The #5 Gonzaga Bulldogs will be home for the holidays to greet the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at 9 p.m. ET Monday at McCarthey Athletic Center. The Bulldogs are out to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
While not quite a landslide, the matchup between Gonzaga and the Texas Tech Red Raiders this past Saturday was still a pretty decisive one as Gonzaga wrapped it up with a 69-55 win. Gonzaga’s guard Andrew Nembhard filled up the stat sheet, picking up 16 points and six assists.
Meanwhile, Northern Arizona came up short against the San Diego Toreros this past Saturday, falling 69-59.
Gonzaga is the favorite in this one, with an expected 35-point (!) margin of victory. Their home court has been no bettor’s paradise, though, as they’ve failed to beat the spread in four of their six home games.
The Bulldogs’ victory brought them up to 9-2 while the Lumberjacks’ loss pulled them down to 4-7. Gonzaga is 6-2 after wins this year, and Northern Arizona is 2-4 after losses.
