Watch Michigan State vs. High Point: TV channel, live stream info, start time

Who’s Playing

High Point @ No. 10 Michigan State

Current Records: High Point 6-6; Michigan State 10-2

What to Know

The High Point Panthers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They and the #10 Michigan State Spartans will round out the year against one another at 3 p.m. ET Wednesday at Jack Breslin Student Events Center. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

High Point was expected to lose against the Florida Atlantic Owls last Tuesday, but instead they received a nice stocking stuffer. The Panthers ultimately received the gift of a 55-52 win from a begrudging Florida Atlantic squad.

Meanwhile, the stars were brightly shining for the Spartans in a 90-78 victory over the Oakland Golden Grizzlies last week. Forward Marcus Bingham Jr. was the offensive standout of the contest for MSU, posting a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds along with four blocks.

High Point have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 22.50 point spread they are up against. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 5-1 against the spread when expected to lose.

High Point is now 6-6 while MSU sits at 10-2. A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Panthers come into the game boasting the 10th most blocked shots per game in college basketball at 6.2. But the Spartans are even better: they rank fourth in college basketball when it comes to blocked shots per game, with 6.8 on average. Points in the paint might be hard to come by.
