Four players on Miami (Fla.) scored in the double digits: guard Jordan Miller (25), guard Kameron McGusty (20), guard Isaiah Wong (19), and forward Anthony Walker (11).
Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Wake Forest as they fell 73-69 to the Louisville Cardinals on Wednesday. Despite the loss, Wake Forest got a solid performance out of forward Jake LaRavia, who had 15 points along with seven boards.
Miami (Fla.)’s victory lifted them to 10-3 while Wake Forest’s defeat dropped them down to 11-2. In their win, the Hurricanes relied heavily on Kameron McGusty, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds in addition to five assists. the Demon Deacons will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
