Columbia @ Yale
Current Records: Columbia 3-9; Yale 6-8
What to Know
Get ready for an Ivy battle as the Columbia Lions and the Yale Bulldogs will face off at noon ET on Sunday at John J. Lee Amphitheater.
Columbia came up short against the Sacred Heart Pioneers two weeks ago, falling 79-69.
Meanwhile, a win for Yale just wasn’t in the stars on Tuesday as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. They got maybe a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Saint Mary’s Gaels an easy 87-60 victory. The Bulldogs were surely aware of their 13.5-point disadvantage in the point spread, but the foreknowledge did nothing to prevent the result. A silver lining for them was the play of guard Azar Swain, who shot 5-for-6 from downtown and finished with 21 points and five boards.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We’ll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
