The Bowling Green Falcons won both of their matches against the Buffalo Bulls last season (86-78 and 76-69) and are aiming for the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons and Buffalo will face off in a Mid-American battle at 7 p.m. ET at Alumni Arena. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Bowling Green was just a bucket shy of a victory this past Saturday and fell 81-80 to the Ball State Cardinals. The matchup was as close as the oddsmakers predicted, but Bowling Green had been the slight favorite coming in.
Meanwhile, the contest between Buffalo and the Akron Zips this past Saturday was not a total blowout, but with Buffalo falling 88-76 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one.
