Steelers vs. Ravens odds, picks, line, spread, how to watch, live stream: Model reveals Week 18 NFL prediction

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could be making his final start in the NFL on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. Even with a win, Pittsburgh still needs help from other teams to qualify for the postseason and extend Roethlisberger’s career. The Ravens are in the same boat as they must win on Sunday and need some other games to go their way as well. The Steelers secured a 20-19 victory over Baltimore on Dec. 5. In select markets, you can stream the game on Paramount+.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Caesars Sportsbook lists the Ravens as three-point favorites in the latest Steelers vs. Ravens odds, while the over-under for total points scored is 41. In select markets, Sunday’s matchup can be seen live on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Week 18 NFL picks for Ravens vs. Steelers

Before you tune in to Sunday’s Steelers vs. Ravens game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,200 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 18 of the 2021 season on an incredible 135-96 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Ravens vs. Steelers, the model is backing the Over (41) to hit. While the matchups between these rivals are often competitive affairs decided by a single score, they aren’t always low-scoring contests. Over the last 10 matchups, the games have averaged 46 total points as the familiarity between the teams has allowed for the offenses to have an edge over the defenses.

After rookie Najee Harris posted the best game of his career in Week 17, the model has Harris totaling almost 100 scrimmage yards in Week 18. Also, Pittsburgh receiver Diontae Johnson is projected to have nearly 90 yards through the air against Baltimore’s injury-ravaged secondary, which ranks 32nd against the pass.

On the other hand, Baltimore’s offense is expected to be powered more so by a committee than one or two standouts. Going up against the 31st-ranked run defense, the Ravens are projected to top 130 rushing yards.

Additionally, both kickers will play large factors in the over hitting as Justin Tucker and Chris Boswell are tied for third in field goals made this year. The model has the kickers combining for 15 points and the game to have a total of 42 points scored. With the total set at 42, SportsLine’s model has the over hitting in over 50 percent of simulations.
