How to watch Kings vs. Lakers basketball game

Through 2 Quarters

Both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings have kept the scorekeepers busy with 128 between them two quarters in. a win is still up for grabs for either team, but Los Angeles is up 67-61

The Lakers have enjoyed the tag-team combination of small forward LeBron James and shooting guard Malik Monk. The former has 17 points and three assists along with three rebounds, while the latter has 12 points and three assists in addition to three boards. Monk hadn’t helped his team much against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, so this is a nice turnaround for him.

Los Angeles and Sacramento both experienced trouble in their last games, but one is bound to make up for it today. At this point it looks like Los Angeles might take this one, but there’s still plenty of time for a reversal of fortune.

Who’s Playing

Los Angeles @ Sacramento

Current Records: Los Angeles 21-20; Sacramento 16-27

What to Know

After a five-game homestand, the Los Angeles Lakers will be on the road. They will take on the Sacramento Kings at 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Golden 1 Center after having had a few days off. Los Angeles won’t have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy a 4-point advantage in the spread.

The Lakers came up short against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, falling 127-119. Los Angeles was down 107-83 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Shooting guard Malik Monk wasn’t much of a difference maker for Los Angeles; Monk finished with only seven points on 3-for-13 shooting in his 29 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, Sacramento was just a bucket short of a win on Monday and fell 109-108 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Sacramento’s defeat shouldn’t obscure the performances of shooting guard Buddy Hield, who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and finished with 19 points, and shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton, who had 21 points and eight assists.

The Lakers are expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder Nov. 4 easily too and instead slipped up with a 107-104. In other words, don’t count the Kings out just yet.
