NFL odds, lines, bracket, picks, spreads, predictions for Wild Card Weekend 2022: Model loving Buccaneers

Only one of the six games on NFL Wild Card Weekend 2022 features two quarterbacks making their postseason debuts, Raiders vs. Bengals on Saturday. Derek Carr was hurt the only other time the Raiders made the playoffs under his tenure, while Joe Burrow has Cincinnati in the NFL playoff bracket for the first time since 2015. The Bengals are 5.5-point home favorites in the latest Wild Card Weekend NFL odds at Caesars Sportsbook as the franchise seeks its first postseason win since 1991.

Cincinnati blew out the Raiders by 19 points when these teams met in Las Vegas in Week 11, but can they cover one of the largest NFL spreads of the week? All of the Wild Card Weekend NFL lines are listed below and SportsLine’s advanced computer model has all the NFL betting advice and predictions you need to make the best Wild Card Weekend NFL picks now.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,400 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters the 2021 NFL playoffs on an incredible 136-97 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, it has turned its attention to the latest Super Wild Card Weekend 2022 NFL odds and locked in picks for every NFL matchup. Head here to see every pick.

Top Wild Card Weekend NFL predictions

One of the model’s strongest Wild Card Weekend picks is that the NFC’s No. 2 seeded Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8.5) cover the spread at home against the No. 7 Eagles.

These teams met in Week 6, when the Bucs prevailed 28-22 on the road, but the game wasn’t as close as the score indicates. Tampa led 28-7 with under three minutes left in the third quarter and the team took its foot off the pedal, which allowed Philly to get back into it. There will be no such let up in a postseason game, as the Bucs will be full throttle from start to finish.

Philadelphia has the NFL’s best rushing attack, but the Bucs’ No. 3 run defense stifled the Eagles’ ground game. The Eagles were held to just 100 rushing yards, their third-fewest of the season, and Tampa had a 2:1 edge in time of possession. Tampa also won that game without the services of Lavonte David, Antoine Winfield Jr. and Rob Gronkowski, all of whom will suit up on Sunday.

The model projects the Buccaneers to win by nine points, giving this side of the spread all the value. SportsLine’s model also projects the Over (46) to hit in more than 50 percent of simulations.

How to make Super Wild Card Weekend NFL picks

The model has also made the call on who wins and covers in every other game on the Wild Card Weekend schedule, and it’s calling for one team to cover in nearly 60 percent of simulations. You can only get every pick for every game at SportsLine.
