Watch 76ers vs. Magic: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Wednesday’s NBA game

Through 1 Quarter

The experts predicted a win for the Philadelphia 76ers, but it’s no sure thing at this point. It’s still tight after one quarter, with Philadelphia leading 25-21 over the Orlando Magic. The 76ers have been led by center Joel Embiid, who so far has 20 points along with five boards and one block.

Philadelphia has been riding high on the performance of Embiid, who has 20 points in addition to five rebounds and one block. Note that this was a full 80% of Philadelphia’s points.

Philadelphia and Orlando have certainly played as if they’re avenging a defeat, because they are. Philadelphia is out front, but they can’t get complacent.

Current Records: Orlando 8-37; Philadelphia 25-18

What to Know

The Orlando Magic have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Philadelphia 76ers and are hoping to record their first win since Dec. 27 of 2019. They will face off against one another at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Wells Fargo Center. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

The Magic came up short against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, falling 98-88. Orlando was down 81-61 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Shooting guard Gary Harris had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 29 minutes with.

Meanwhile, the game between Philadelphia and the Washington Wizards on Monday was not a total blowout, but with the 76ers falling 117-98 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one. Philadelphia’s loss came about despite a quality game from center Joel Embiid, who had 32 points along with eight rebounds.

Orlando is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one. Now might not be the best time to take Orlando against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.

Orlando is now 8-37 while Philadelphia sits at 25-18. The Magic are 7-29 after losses this year, the 76ers 10-7.
