In the divisional round, the Los Angeles Rams overcame numerous self-inflicted mistakes and a furious Buccaneers rally to clinch their spot in Sunday’s 2022 NFC Championship Game. Awaiting them is a 49ers team that flustered Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford in two regular-season contests. Stafford had as many interceptions (four) as touchdowns against San Francisco this season as the Niners swept the season series. However, Stafford threw for a season-high 366 yards against the Buccaneers last week, so he should be on the quarterback radar for Sunday’s NFL DFS lineups.
Stafford had success finding Cooper Kupp in the two earlier games against the Niners, but should fellow Rams receiver Odell Beckham Jr. be part of your NFL DFS strategy? Before making your NFL DFS picks for the championship round on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.
McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1 percent in more than a dozen other tournaments last season.
He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NFL DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.
Now, McClure has turned his attention to the 2022 AFC Championship Game and 2022 NFC Championship Game and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.
Top NFL DFS picks for 2022 NFL playoffs championship round
One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for the championship round is Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill ($7,000 on DraftKings and $8,100 on FanDuel). The Cheetah lived up to his nickname on Sunday, when he used his speed to run away from would-be tacklers. Hill had a postseason career-high of 11 receptions that went for 150 yards and a touchdown.
Hill is now averaging 111.2 receiving yards over his last six postseason games and topped 100 yards in four of those contests. He now faces a Bengals team that has been victimized by opposing receivers. Cincinnati has allowed at least one receiving TD to an opposing wide receiver in eight straight games and a total of 10 TDs over that stretch. A.J. Brown of the Titans went off for a 5-142-1 stat line versus Cincy last week, and Hill could get similar numbers on Sunday.
Another part of McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy includes rostering Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase ($6,700 on DraftKings and $8,000 on FanDuel). Chase had five grabs for 109 yards last week to make him the first rookie in NFL history to have multiple 100-yard receiving games in the postseason. If you take away Week 18 in which Chase played just five snaps, he is averaging over 123 yards per game over his last four games.
One of those games came against Kansas City, when the former LSU product won NFL DFS tournaments for many daily Fantasy football players. In Week 17, Chase had 11 catches for 266 yards and three touchdowns. Kansas City hasn’t seemed to improve since and gave up a similarly productive stat line of 8-201-4 to Gabriel Davis in the divisional round. As his team’s No. 1 receiver and facing the No. 27 pass defense, Chase is a must-start for Sunday’s NFL DFS lineups.
How to set NFL DFS lineups
McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to explode for huge numbers this Sunday. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
