A Pac-12 battle is on tap between the Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers at 10 p.m. ET this past Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon is expected to win again but is hoping to meet expectations this time.
The Ducks were close but no cigar last week as they fell 82-78 to the Colorado Buffaloes. A silver lining for Oregon was the play of forward Quincy Guerrier, who had 22 points in addition to six boards.
Meanwhile, Oregon State came up short against the Washington Huskies two weeks ago, falling 82-72. Oregon State’s loss shouldn’t obscure the performances of guard Dashawn Davis, who had 17 points and eight assists, and center Roman Silva, who had 13 points along with eight rebounds. Silva’s performance made up for a slower contest against the UCLA Bruins three weeks ago. Silva’s points were the most he has had all season.
This next game looks promising for Oregon, who are favored by a full 12.5 points. They may be expected to win, but bettors beware: they are only 5-10 against the spread when favored.
