The Spartans are led by senior forward Gabe Brown, who poured in 20 points in Saturday’s loss at Rutgers. He has recorded one double-double on the season, a 16-point, 10-rebound game against UConn on Nov. 25, and has reached double-figure scoring in 18 games. His best outing was a 24-point performance against High Point on Dec. 29. For the season, Brown is averaging 13.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and one assist per game.

Also leading the way for Michigan State is junior forward Malik Hall, who averages 10 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He is also connecting on 56.7 percent of his field goals, including 53.7 percent from 3-point range, and 72.5 percent of his free throws. In the first game against Wisconsin, Hall nearly had a double-double with 14 points and eight rebounds. He also had two blocks and two assists.
