It’s the most wonderful time of the year for fans of women’s college basketball. The women’s NCAA basketball tournament is underway and for the first time ever features 68 teams. That number has bee whittled down to 16 and while the first weekend was rife with upsets, there is a collection of bluebloods and expected names still vying for the ultimate prize in college hoops. Names like UConn, Stanford and NC State are joined by a South Dakota team that is wearing Cinderella’s slipper in 2022.
