One surprise: the model is high on Ryan Blaney, even though he’s a 14-1 long shot in the latest 2022 NASCAR at Sonoma odds. He’s a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. Blaney is still looking for his first Cup Series win of the season, but he did pick up a win at the All-Star Race last month.
Despite the lack of victories, he has been in solid form overall. Blaney ranks inside the top 10 of the standings and is coming off a fourth-place finish at the World Wide Technology Raceway in his last start. He has seven other top-seven finishes this season as well, so he is certainly expected to contend for his first win of the year on Sunday afternoon.
