2022 MLB odds, picks, bets for Monday, July 11 from proven model: This four-way parlay pays well over 10-1

The lead in the NL East will be on the line this week when the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves clash in a three-game series at Truist Park. The Mets’ Max Scherzer (5-1, 2.26 ERA) squares off against the Braves’ Max Fried (9-2, 2.52) in the first game of the series on Monday. After leading the division by 10.5 games on June 1, New York (53-33) holds just a 1.5-game lead over Atlanta (52-35), which is 29-8 since the start of June. Atlanta is a -130 favorite in the latest Braves vs. Mets odds from Caesars Sportsbook while New York is a +110 underdog.

First pitch is set for 7:20 p.m. ET from Atlanta. The game is one of 10 on the MLB schedule for Monday. Elsewhere in the majors, Boston tries to extend Tampa Bay’s losing streak to four, and Philadelphia and St. Louis conclude a four-game series. Before making any MLB picks or parlays, be sure to check out the MLB predictions and betting advice from SportsLine’s proven computer model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, and it is 275-236 on top-rated MLB money-line picks since the start of the 2021 season, returning over $400 for $100 players. This is the same model that pegged the 2021 Atlanta Braves at 10-1 as one of three best bets to win it all last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen profitable returns.

Now, the model has locked in four confident MLB best bets for Monday. They all involve games at 6:40 p.m. ET or later, so there’s still time to get these MLB picks in. If you successfully parlay the picks, you’d be looking at a payout of well over 10-1. You can see the model’s MLB picks for Monday only at SportsLine.

The model, which ran 10,000 simulations on each of Monday’s games, likes Tampa Bay (-110) to knock off Boston. Matt Wisler (2-3, 2.58 ERA) is likely to open for the Rays, and he has been dominant recently. Since June 30, he has not given up an earned run in four appearances covering 3.1 innings. One of those appearances was a perfect inning against the Red Sox on Wednesday.

In addition, Yandy Diaz is swinging a hot bat for Tampa Bay. Over his last 14 games, the 30-year-old third baseman is hitting a robust .471 with an OPS of 1.197. He also had six hits in the three-game series last week at Boston.
