NFL player props, odds, expert picks for Week 4, 2022: Saquon Barkley’s longest rush is over 16.5 yards

The first overseas game of the season and another showdown of top quarterbacks are on tap as part of the 14-game Sunday NFL schedule. Vikings vs. Saints kicks the day off, with their NFL in London matchup set for 9:30 a.m. ET. Tampa Bay beat the Chiefs 31-9 to win Super Bowl LV, and the Sunday Night Football matchup is a pick’em in the latest NFL odds at Caesars Sportsbook. Caesars has many NFL props available on the game and has set the over/under for passing yards for both quarterbacks, with Mahomes at 274.5 and Brady at 272.5. Which NFL prop bets should you target?

There are plenty of wagering options and the numerous NFL player props are an excellent place to find value. Before making any 2022 NFL Week 4 prop bets, you need to see the top NFL picks and predictions from NFL props expert Alex Selesnick.

Selesnick (aka PropStarz) specializes in NFL, MLB and NBA prop betting, where he implements a combination of research, statistical analysis and mathematical modeling.

The expert is 7-4 (+2.54 units) on his SportsLine NFL player props through three weeks, after going an impressive 53-37 during the 2021 regular season. He also is 129-89 (+25.69 units) on MLB prop plays this year and up nearly 235 units on NBA props and futures plays over the past two-plus seasons.

With the NFL Week 4 schedule quickly approaching, Selesnick has evaluated the NFL player props from Caesars and found four strong bets. You can only see them here.

Top NFL player prop bets for Week 4

One of the Week 4 NFL prop bets PropStarz is backing: Giants running back Saquon Barkley goes over 16.5 yards on his longest rush (-115) against Chicago. The fifth-year pro appears to finally be healthy, and the props expert says Barkley has looked like one of the best offensive players in the NFL so far. He is second in the league in rushing with 317 yards, topping 70 in each contest. He faces a Bears defense that is yielding 157 rushing yards per game to rank 30th in the NFL.

The Giants are 2-1, and Barkley is the biggest reason the offense has been able to do enough to win. He is averaging 6.0 yards per carry and has a run of at least 16 yards in each of the three games. He had a 68-yard run in the opener against Tennessee and broke a 36-yarder against the Cowboys last week. If the Giants are going to keep winning, Barkley will be getting plenty of work, and PropStarz knows all it takes is one crease and the former Pro Bowler can cash this in.
