How to watch Wisconsin vs. Iowa: TV channel, NCAA Football live stream info, start time

Who’s Playing

No. 9 Iowa @ Wisconsin

Current Records: Iowa 6-1; Wisconsin 4-3

What to Know

The Iowa Hawkeyes should come into this matchup well-rested after a week off from action. Iowa and the Wisconsin Badgers will face off in a Big Ten battle at noon ET Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. These two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hawkeyes 14.57, Wisconsin 18.43), so any points scored will be well earned.

Iowa received a tough blow two weeks ago as they fell 24-7 to the Purdue Boilermakers. Iowa’s only offensive touchdown came from RB Ivory Kelly-Martin.

Meanwhile, it was all tied up 13-13 at the half for Wisconsin and Purdue last week, but the Badgers stepped up in the second half for a 30-13 victory. Wisconsin’s RB Braelon Allen was one of the most active players for the squad, rushing for two TDs and 140 yards on 12 carries. Allen’s longest run was for 70 yards in the third quarter. Allen’s sharp performance set his single-game rushing touchdown high for the season.

Wisconsin’s defense was a force to be reckoned with, as it collected four interceptions and one fumble. S Collin Wilder picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.

Iowa is expected to lose this next one by 3. Those burned by picking them against the spread two weeks ago might want to keep in mind that the team has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.

Iowa is now 6-1 while Wisconsin sits at 4-3. A pair of numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Hawkeyes are 193rd worst in the nation in thrown interceptions, having thrown six on the season. The Badgers have experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the game with the 231st most thrown interceptions in the nation, having thrown nine on the season. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
