Boise State vs. Wyoming: How to watch, schedule, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Through 3 Quarters

The Boise State Broncos are just one quarter away from delivering their fans the win they’ve been expecting all week. Either team is in a position to win, but they lead against the Wyoming Cowboys 13-7.

Boise State has been relying on RB George Holani, who has picked up 102 yards on the ground on 19 carries, and QB Hank Bachmeier, who has passed for one TD and 163 yards on 24 attempts. Wyoming has been led by RB Titus Swen, who so far has punched in one rushing touchdown.

Despite being ahead, this is the least points the Broncos have had yet this year going into the fourth quarter.

What to Know

The Wyoming Cowboys are 1-5 against the Boise State Broncos since October of 2015, but they’ll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Wyoming and Boise State will face off in a Mountain West battle at 9 p.m. ET at Albertsons Stadium. Both teams might be coming in a bit winded after having run the length of the field multiple times in their most recent games.

The Cowboys bagged a 31-17 victory over the Colorado State Rams last week. Wyoming’s QB Levi Williams was on fire, passing for two TDs and 92 yards on 16 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 116 yards. Williams’ longest run was for 52 yards in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, everything went Boise State’s way against the Fresno State Bulldogs last week as they made off with a 40-14 win. Boise State’s RB George Holani looked sharp as he picked up 117 yards on the ground on 21 carries. That nimble footwork stands out as the first time Holani has hit the 100-yard rushing mark this season.

Special teams collected 16 points for the Broncos. K Jonah Dalmas delivered a perfect 4-for-4 game.

The Cowboys have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 14 point spread they are up against. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last week might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

The wins brought both teams up to an identical 5-4. A couple offensive stats to keep an eye on: Wyoming is stumbling into the matchup with the 204th fewest passing yards per game in the nation, having accrued only 156 on average. The Broncos have experienced some struggles of their own as they are 195th worst in the nation in rushing yards per game, with only 106.1 on average. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
