Cowboys center Travis Frederick announces retirement at age 29


Cowboys center Travis Frederick announced his retirement on Twitter on Monday evening. A first-round pick in 2013, Frederick started every game in his first five seasons before sitting out the entire 2018 season due to Guillain-Barre syndrome. The center returned to start every game in 2019.

Frederick retires having made the Pro Bowl in each of the last five seasons he played while also being named first-team All-Pro in 2016.
