I know dentists now have to market their services but is this really such a good idea? Should then not instead rely on people giving them good write ups?
Nowadays it is just not good enough for a dentist to be good at what they do, now they have to be up with the times and this means having a web site indicating everything they offer. They will have the hours of operation, specialties, their credentials, some even put on their prices for certain procedures, which is always nice. Many dentists now are offering short news reports, ones that are informative and they keep up with the latest procedures. In today’s world, people demand to be informed on what will be done to their teeth or their family’s teeth.
Some dentists will go as far as putting a question and answer page where people can ask simple questions and get a response; these are written by the dentist themselves and can be quite helpful. The more information offered the better the chance of getting these potential customers in the dentist’s office.
Dentist marketing can make or break a dentist, mostly make them. With the right images and information, they can see a high rise in their customers and thus, more money. Some will go as far as offering free exams and cleaning; or offer coupons for braces. Dentist marketing doesn’t have to be just online it can be advertised in newspapers, announcements on the radio and some will even advertise with a short clip on the television, though that can be very expensive
Some will sponsor their local soft ball league or kids basketball team. They have their logos and the shirts; this will also bring in business for the dentist. They will also help with community charities; this gets their names known as well as helping out the less fortunate. One nice thing about dentist marketing on line is the dentist or their office personal can send emails to their clients reminding them of their appointments and you can even set up an appointment without having to talk to anyone. You will receive a notice stating that they have received your information and off you, all set to see the dentist.
