Jets vs. Broncos odds, picks, how to watch, live stream: Model reveals 2021 Week 3 NFL predictions, best bets

Just two games on the Week 3 NFL schedule feature an undefeated team facing a winless team, and one of those will take place in Denver. The Broncos (2-0) will host the New York Jets (0-2) in a matchup of teams who made major quarterback moves this offseason. New York drafted Zach Wilson second overall, but the former BYU star has struggled and leads the NFL both in interceptions (five) and times sacked (10). The Broncos traded for Teddy Bridgewater, and the well-traveled veteran ranks second in the league with a 77.1 completion percentage.

Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. ET from Empower Field at Mile High. The latest Jets vs. Broncos odds list Denver as the 10-point favorite according to Caesars Sportsbook, and the over-under for total points is 41.5. In select markets, Sunday’s matchup can be seen live on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Week 3 NFL picks for Jets vs. Broncos

Before you tune in to Sunday’s Broncos vs. Jets game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,800 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters Week 3 of the 2021 season on an incredible 122-81 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Jets vs. Broncos, the model is backing the Over (41.5) to hit with points to spare. In fact, SportsLine’s model projects there to be 46 total points scored, resulting in the Over hitting in almost 60 percent of simulations.

Denver’s offense has been among the most efficient through the first two weeks of the season. The Broncos have committed just one turnover, rank fifth in passer rating and are fifth in rushing yards. All of this came via two road games, as Denver is one of four NFL teams who have yet to play at home.

The Broncos are expected to do most of the heavy lifting, as Bridgewater is projected to account for over 250 total yards, while Denver, as a team, rushes for over 100 yards and 4.0 yards per carry. But the Jets will also contribute to the total, as a more conservative game plan calls for more running plays and fewer Wilson passes. The Jets have a committee of talented running backs that is also forecasted to top the century mark in yardage, which will take pressure off Wilson.

The Broncos’ Brandon McManus has made all 10 of his kicks this year and is projected to boot two field goals on Sunday. Jets kicker Matt Ammendola will get to attempt his first extra points of the season as the Jets have gone for two after their two previous touchdowns.
