KBO odds, picks, lines, predictions, schedule, best bets for July 2: This three-way parlay pays well over 7-1

After winning 12 of 13 games, with the only loss in that span being a two-run decision, the Kiwoom Heroes came up with a clunker Wednesday as they suffered a 14-5 loss to the Doosan Bears in which they scored four of their runs in the ninth inning. Kiwoom also lost a game in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) standings, as it now trails the first-place NC Dinos by three. The Heroes attempt to bounce back when they visit the Bears for one of the five KBO series finales that begin at 5:30 a.m. ET on Thursday. Kim Ha-seong was the offensive star for Kiwoom on Wednesday, going 3-for-5 and driving in a pair of runs to give him at least one RBI in seven of his last eight contests.

The latest KBO odds from William Hill have both the Heroes and Bears at -115 (risk $115 to return $100), the Dinos at -125 against the Lotte Giants, the LG Twins at -190 against the KT Wiz, the Samsung Lions at -180 against the SK Wyverns and the Kia Tigers at -160 against the Hanwha Eagles. Before locking in any KBO picks for Thursday’s games, be sure to see the Korean baseball best bets from SportsLine data engineer Mike McClure.

Recognized in the book “Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn your hobby into a Fortune” as a top Daily Fantasy Baseball Player, McClure has won almost $2 million in daily Fantasy sports. And in 2016, McClure launched the wOBA Projection Model for MLB picks, which has returned $2,300 to $100 bettors.

Now, he’s turned his attention to the KBO and locked in three strong picks for Thursday. Parlaying his three selections would pay out well over 7-1. You can only see them here.

Top Korean Baseball predictions for July 2

One of McClure’s top KBO picks for Thursday: He’s backing the Dinos (-125) to defeat the Giants in the rubber match of their series.

NC has been alternating wins and losses over its last seven games but looks to post back-to-back victories for the first time since a three-game streak from June 21-25 after topping Lotte 6-2 on Wednesday. Na Sung-bum and Yang Eui-ji both homered and drove in a pair of runs in the triumph, with the former’s being his 14th of the year – breaking a tie with teammate Aaron Altherr for second in the league. Sung-bum also is tied for second with KT’s Mel Rojas Jr. with 45 RBIs as he is well on his way to reaching triple digits for the fourth time in his career and first since 2016 (113). The Dinos are hoping for a strong effort from Lee Jae-hak, who enters with a 5.60 ERA.

“Despite not having the pitching edge, the Dinos still are a much better team and should be closer to -140 favorites at home against this Giants lineup,” McClure told SportsLine.
