NBA DFS: Devin Booker and top FanDuel, DraftKings daily Fantasy basketball picks for March 6, 2020

The NBA’s galaxy of superstars will be bright Friday, as 20 teams stock the NBA DFS player pool. Trae Young, who’s averaging 29.6 points per game, leads the Atlanta Hawks on the road against Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards. Beal is averaging 39.7 points per game in his last seven outings and he’ll certainly be one of the most popular NBA DFS picks on Friday night.

Meanwhile, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis will be one of the more intriguing NBA DFS stacks when the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Milwaukee Bucks. Before you enter any NBA DFS tournaments on Friday like FanDuel’s $400K NBA Shot Machine or the $400K Fadeaway on DraftKings, be sure to check in with daily Fantasy pro Mike McClure. McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. McClure rolled through the 2018-19 NBA season, producing multiple lineups that led to huge returns for followers, including as much as 40x on FanDuel and 84x on DraftKings. He saw multiple huge cashes again early in the 2019-20 NBA season and got 2020 off to a blistering start with his optimal lineup returning at least 7x on DraftKings on three of the first five days of the new year. He’s returned 4x or more multiple times since that point. Anybody following him has seen huge returns.

Now, he’s turned his attention to Friday’s NBA schedule. Head to SportsLine to see his optimal NBA DFS picks. Here are five of the most expensive players in Friday’s NBA DFS player pool:

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,100 on FanDuel, $11,200 on DraftKings)
  • Luka Doncic ($10,700 on FanDuel, $11,300 on DraftKings)
  • Anthony Davis ($10,400 on FanDuel, $9,800 on DraftKings)
  • LeBron James ($10,200 on FanDuel, $10,900 on DraftKings)
  • Bradley Beal ($10,100 on FanDuel, $10,400 on DraftKings)

McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Friday

For Friday, McClure is rostering Indiana Pacers point guard T.J. McConnell ($3,800 on FanDuel, $4,000 on DraftKings). McConnell went for 14 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals on Wednesday against the Bucks. The 14-point effort was McConnell’s highest scoring output since Dec. 20, when he scored 15 points against the Kings.

McConnell got over 30 minutes after Malcolm Brogdon left early with a sore hip and Victor Oladipo (knee) missed his second straight game. And with Brogdon doubtful and Oladipo questionable to play Friday against the Bulls, McConnell could see a lot of action again. In addition, the Bulls are giving up over 110 points per game this season. McConnell is a complete steal at this price point, so lock him in your Friday NBA DFS lineups.

McClure’s Friday NBA DFS strategy also includes rostering Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker ($8,300 on FanDuel, $8,400 on DraftKings). Booker posted 22 points, 10 assists, four rebounds and a steal on Tuesday against the Raptors. While Booker has been consistently in the top 10 in scoring at 25.9 points per game, Booker has improved his passing, as he is averaging 7.1 assists after the All-Star break.

Now, Booker gets a dream matchup against the Trail Blazers, a team he torched for 33 points, seven assists and six rebounds earlier this season. Portland is also giving up over 115 points per game this season, which bodes well for Booker on Friday night.

How to set your NBA DFS lineups on Friday

McClure is also targeting another player who has a dream matchup on Friday. The stars are aligning for him to return 50, even 60 points on DraftKings and FanDuel. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
