Pelicans vs. Wizards: How to watch live stream, TV channel, NBA start time

Through 3 Quarters

The Washington Wizards typically have all the answers at home, but the New Orleans Pelicans are posing a tough problem. Three quarters in and the Pelicans’ offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating Washington 95-73 three quarters in.

Small forward Brandon Ingram (22 points) and center Jonas Valanciunas (21 points) have been the top scorers for New Orleans. One thing to keep an eye out for is Herbert Jones’ foul situation as he currently sits at four.

The Wizards have been relying on shooting guard Bradley Beal, who has 23 points along with five boards, and point guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who has ten points and eight assists in addition to seven rebounds.

New Orleans’ lead is the biggest they have had this year going into the fourth quarter.

Who’s Playing

Washington @ New Orleans

Current Records: Washington 11-6; New Orleans 3-16

What to Know

The New Orleans Pelicans will play host again and welcome the Washington Wizards to Smoothie King Center, where tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’

It looks like New Orleans got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. On Monday, they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves at home by a decisive 110-96 margin. The Pelicans were down 89-69 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Their loss shouldn’t obscure the performances of center Willy Hernangomez, who posted a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards, and small forward Josh Hart, who had 13 points and five assists along with five rebounds and three blocks. Hart had some trouble finding his footing against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday, so this was a step in the right direction.

As for Washington, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Monday as they fell 109-103 to the Charlotte Hornets. Point guard Spencer Dinwiddie wasn’t much of a difference maker for the Wizards; Dinwiddie played for 29 minutes but put up just eight points on 2-for-11 shooting.

New Orleans is expected to lose this next one by 4.5. Now might not be the best time to take New Orleans against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.

The losses put New Orleans at 3-16 and Washington at 11-6. The Pelicans are 3-12 after losses this year, Washington 3-2.
