Richmond vs. Maryland: How to watch, schedule, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Who’s Playing

Maryland @ Richmond

Current Records: Maryland 4-1; Richmond 3-2

What to Know

The Richmond Spiders will square off against the Maryland Terrapins at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday at Baha Mar Convention Center. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

Richmond can’t say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They had enough points to win and then some against the Hofstra Pride on Monday, taking their contest 81-68. Forward Tyler Burton (14 points) was the top scorer for the Spiders.

Meanwhile, it was a close one, but this past Friday Maryland sidestepped Hofstra for a 69-67 victory. The overall outcome was to be expected, but Hofstra made it more of a matchup than the oddsmakers had predicted. Maryland got double-digit scores from four players: guard Eric Ayala (14), guard Fatts Russell (13), guard Ian Martinez (13), and forward Julian Reese (10).

The wins brought Richmond up to 3-2 and the Terrapins to 4-1. Two numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Spiders enter the game with only 10.2 turnovers per game on average, good for 31st best in college basketball. Less enviably, Maryland is 39th worst in college basketball in takeaways, with only 11.4 on average.
