After four games on the road, the Houston Rockets are heading back home. They will take on the Chicago Bulls at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Toyota Center. Neither Houston nor Chicago could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
It looks like the Rockets got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They took a hard 108-90 fall against the Boston Celtics on Monday. Houston was down 86-63 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. The top scorer for Houston was point guard Armoni Brooks (17 points).
As for Chicago, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They were completely outmatched by the Indiana Pacers at home and fell 109-77. The Bulls were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 67-46. Small forward DeMar DeRozan (18 points) and shooting guard Zach LaVine (17 points) were the top scorers for Chicago.
The Rockets are expected to lose this next one by 9.5. Their home court has been no bettor’s paradise, as they’ve failed to beat the spread in five of their six home games.
