Argentina vs. Bolivia: World Cup qualifying live stream, TV channel, how to watch online, news, odds

World Cup qualifying continues in South America on Thursday as Argentina welcome Bolivia to Buenos Aires just days after the Copa America champs saw their match against Brazil suspended as health officials stormed the field to confront Argentine players over COVID protocols. That match’s outcome has not been decided, with Argentina set to complete just two matches in this window.

Here’s are storylines, how you can watch the match and more:

Storylines

Argentina: If one good thing came out of the suspended match against Argentina, it’s that this team should be really well rested. Where as Bolivia are playing their third game in about a week, this is essentially just Argentina’s second. Because of that, expect them to be a tad fresher, dominant on the ball and for this one not to be particularly close. If they can get off to a fast start, they should be able to cruise to victory.

Bolivia: Can Marcelo Moreno come through again? The veteran striker is the top scorer in qualifying with eight, and he’s in the best form he’s ever been with the national team. With Argentina likely to score, he’s going to need a goal or two for them to have any chance at a draw. Expect Argentina to mark him tight, play a bit overly physical and largely be able to neutralize him thanks to their strength at centerback.
