How to watch Tulsa vs. Navy: NCAA Football live stream info, TV channel, time, game odds

Who’s Playing

Navy @ Tulsa

Current Records: Navy 1-6; Tulsa 3-4

What to Know

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. Tulsa and the Navy Midshipmen will face off in an American Athletic battle at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium. The Golden Hurricane are out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.

Two weeks ago, Tulsa turned the game against the South Florida Bulls into a track meet and took the gold after outgaining them 535 yards to 268. Tulsa slipped by South Florida 32-31. Tulsa can attribute much of their success to RB Shamari Brooks, who rushed for one TD and 145 yards on 23 carries. Tulsa’s victory came on a three-yard rush from Brooks with only 0:53 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Navy scored first but ultimately less than the Cincinnati Bearcats in their game this past Saturday. Navy fell to Cincinnati 27-20. Navy’s only offensive touchdowns (two) came on a rush from QB Tai Lavatai.

The Golden Hurricane are the favorite in this one, with an expected 11-point margin of victory. But bettors beware: they are only 1-4 against the spread when favored.

Tulsa is now 3-4 while Navy sits at 1-6. Two defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: Tulsa is stumbling into the contest with the 226th most touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up 21 on the season. The Midshipmen have experienced some struggles of their own as they are 238th worst in the nation in rushing touchdowns allowed, with 17 on the season. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
