Maxey had some trouble finding his footing against the New York Knicks on Tuesday, so this is a step in the right direction.

The Detroit Pistons will take on the Philadelphia 76ers at 7 p.m. ET Thursday at Wells Fargo Center after having had a few days off. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’

Meanwhile, Philadelphia lost to the New York Knicks on the road by a decisive 112-99 margin. The losing side was boosted by power forward Tobias Harris, who had 23 points and nine assists along with nine rebounds.
