Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has made many fans with his play on the field this season, but those in the league office are getting a bit tired of him. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Lamb has been fined by the NFL five times over the first six games of the season.

Per Schefter, Lamb has been fined a total of $46,865. He’s been fined twice for having his jersey untucked ($5,150 each time), fined for wearing his socks too low ($5,150), fined for an illegal crackback block ($10,815) and then of course fined for his infamous goodbye wave at New England Patriots defensive back Jalen Mills after scoring the game-winning touchdown in overtime ($10,300).

After racking up two different violations for having an untucked jersey, the next time Lamb is penalized for said violation will bring a $46,350 fine. According to Schefter’s math, Lamb has been fined 3.75 percent of his total salary just six games into the season.

The former No. 17 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft has caught 33 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns this season. He ranks 18th in the NFL in receiving yards and is tied for 12th in receiving touchdowns. The Cowboys want him to keep doing what he’s doing, but maybe just check to see if his jersey is tucked in between plays.
