Leicester City comes into this match sitting in 12th, needing a win in the worst way with only two in their last five matches. Chelsea will look to rebound from a draw with Burnley to keep their hold on the top of the league. With injuries and the international break taking their toll on both sides, it’ll be interesting to see who starts but one thing that you can bet on is that a defender will score for Chelsea. Out of their 26 goals this season, 12 have been scored by players classed as defenders, an astounding testament to Tuchel-ball

Here’s are storylines, how you can watch the match and more:

Storylines

Leicester: Brendan Rodgers has struggled to figure out what his best XI is this season. While injuries to Wilfred Ndidi, James Justin, Wesley Fofana, and others haven’t helped things, indecisiveness between formations has been an issue. Shifting between a back three, two up top, and three up top leaves all of the attackers in the cold on what they should do especially Kelechi Iheanacho. While he has produced when called upon, the Foxes can’t stay in a 4-4-2 long enough for him to make an impact. Hopefully, an international break at home has helped James Maddison too as he needs to pick up his performances if Leicester is going to climb out of the bottom half.

Chelsea: Chelsea needs to figure out what their scoring plan is without Romelu Lukaku. In their last for matches, the Blues have only scored more than one goal once and that was when they faced Newcastle. But they’ve also pitched shutouts in three of those four matches showing that you can only struggle so much at the top of the league. A lot of Chelsea players have played quite a few minutes during the break which could see Trevor Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek come in for squad rotation.

Prediction

The wing-back show will see Chelsea through with ease this weekend. Pick: Chelsea 2, Leicester 0
