What to Know
The PFW Mastodons will take on the Southeastern Louisiana Lions at 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The Mastodons will be hoping to build upon the 67-63 win they picked up against Southeastern Louisiana when they previously played in November of last year.
The oddsmakers predicted a rough contest for PFW last Friday, and boy were they were right. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 78-49 punch to the gut against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Jarred Godfrey had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 32 minutes with and six turnovers.
As for Southeastern Louisiana, they have more to be thankful for after their game against the Ecclesia Royals on Monday. Southeastern Louisiana put a hurting on Ecclesia at home to the tune of 121-79.
Southeastern Louisiana’s win lifted them to 3-2 while PFW’s loss dropped them down to 2-1. We’ll see if the Lions can repeat their recent success or if the Mastodons bounce back and reverse their fortune.
