Charlotte came close but couldn’t overcome the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in a 127-125 loss. Charlotte was up 41-25 at the end of the first quarter but couldn’t hold on to the lead. Ball won’t be on the floor on Sunday, however. He, Terry Rozier, Mason Plumlee and Jalen McDaniels were all entered into the league’s health and safety protocols on Saturday. Just that quickly, Hornets head coach James Borrego needs to figure out how to replace the 50 points per game that was just removed from his rotation.
