The Milwaukee Bucks are on the road again Sunday and play against the New York Knicks at noon ET Dec. 12 at Madison Square Garden. The Bucks will be strutting in after a victory while New York will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Milwaukee was able to grind out a solid win over the Houston Rockets this past Friday, winning 123-114. Power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo had a dynamite game for Milwaukee; he posted a double-double on 41 points and 17 boards in addition to five dimes.
Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for New York as they fell 90-87 to the Toronto Raptors this past Friday. Small forward R.J. Barrett (19 points) and power forward Obi Toppin (19 points) were the top scorers for New York.
The Bucks are the favorite in this one, with an expected 4-point margin of victory. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past three games, so buyers beware.
Milwaukee didn’t have too much trouble with the Knicks on the road in the teams’ previous meeting last month as they won 112-100. Will Milwaukee repeat their success, or does New York have a better game plan this time around? We’ll find out soon enough.
