NFL DFS, Week 14: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy football picks, stacks, lineup advice

The 49ers’ backfield is in shambles due to injuries. Elijah Mitchell is dealing with a concussion and knee injury, Jeff Wilson Jr. has a knee issue of his own, and Trey Sermon was just placed on IR. Even sometimes-running back Deebo Samuel is hurting and missed last week’s game, but could suit up Sunday. That leaves very few options for daily Fantasy players who always look to get a Niners back in their NFL DFS lineups.

JaMycal Hasty is the next man up for San Francisco and your NFL DFS picks. As someone not among the top 30 most expensive running back options on DraftKings and FanDuel, he presents plenty of value in the NFL DFS player pool. Before finalizing any NFL DFS picks for Week 14, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1 percent in more than a dozen other tournaments last season.

He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Week 14 NFL schedule and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for Week 14

One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for Week 14 is Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase ($6,900 on DraftKings, $7,200 on FanDuel). The No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft entered a crowded wide receiver room in Cincinnati and was scrutinized heavily for dropping passes during the preseason.

Chase and quarterback Joe Burrow were college teammates at LSU, and that relationship has paid major dividends for the Bengals in Chase’s rookie season. He enters Week 14 with 55 catches for 958 yards and eight scores and also ranks sixth in the NFL in deep targets this season (20). Chase is averaging 17.4 yards per reception this season, and that upside makes him a strong play against the 49ers on Sunday.

Part of McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy includes rostering Washington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson at $6,000 on DraftKings and $7,400 on FanDuel. Gibson’s two most productive outings of the year have come in his last two games. After posting a season-high 146 scrimmage yards in Week 12, he generated 111 yards from scrimmage the following week.

Washington’s four-game winning streak has coincided with the team featuring Gibson more while pass-catching back J.D. McKissic recovers from a concussion. After averaging 16 touches per game through the first eight weeks of the season, Gibson has received 27.3 over the last four. The second-year pro has also experienced nothing but success against his Week 14 opponent, the Dallas Cowboys, as he had two 100-yard games versus the divisional rival last season.

How to set NFL DFS lineups for Week 14
