Coaches Poll top 25: Oregon enters top five, Texas A&M drops from top 15 in college football rankings

Following a weekend of mostly chalk, the Coaches Poll did not see a lot of movement in the top 10. Plenty of teams benefitted from Oklahoma’s loss to Baylor, including Oregon, which moved up a spot from No. 6 to No. 5. The Ducks sit behind No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Cincinnati and No. 4 Ohio State.

While the Sooners experienced the biggest drop in the poll this week, falling seven spots from No. 4 to No. 11, they weren’t alone in their plummet. Texas A&M fell five spots from No. 11 to No. 16 following its loss to Ole Miss, while NC State dropped five spots to No. 24 following a loss to Wake Forest.

As you’d expect, the biggest jump this week was by Baylor, as the Bears moved up to No. 13 following their win over previously-unbeaten Oklahoma. Check out the full rankings below.
